Design Perspective – Pune Edition, an initiative by FOAID, arrives on 22nd May 2026 at The Westin, bringing together architects and designers from across the city for an evening that blends dialogue, discovery, and a shared vision for design.
Set in Pune, a city where tradition meets a rapidly evolving urban identity, Design Perspective brings together the architecture and design community for an evening of meaningful exchange. With influences ranging from cultural landmarks like Shaniwar Wada to the fast-paced development of Hinjawadi, Pune’s design language is constantly adapting. This gathering reflects that shift open, engaging, and shaped by ideas that define the future of the city.
What’s in Store?
In a city like Pune, where every street carries a sense of memory while the skyline continues to evolve, Design Perspective becomes a space for reflection as much as exchange. The evening is shaped around conversations that mirror this duality, thoughtful yet forward-looking, grounded yet exploratory.
The people in the room define its rhythm. Voices shaped by experience meet those driven by new ideas, creating a dialogue that moves seamlessly between vision and reality. From design intent to on-site challenges, from materiality to client conversations it all comes into play. What stays with you is not just what was said, but how it reshapes the way you think about your own work.

Explore Materials. Understand Applications. Build Better.
At Design Perspective Pune, material innovation becomes part of the larger design conversation. A curated selection of leading brands presents their products in a way that blends into the evening subtle, accessible, and aligned with how architects in Pune approach real-world projects.
The experience is designed for interaction, not display. It’s about asking questions, understanding systems, and seeing how materials actually perform within the context of practice. Conversations move naturally from ideas to execution, with products becoming a tangible extension of that dialogue.
– Explore materials, finishes, and systems that align closely with your current project requirements.
- Assess products in greater detail, going beyond what standard catalogues typically offer.
- Connect directly with brand representatives for deeper technical understanding and specification clarity.
- Walk away with informed references and insights to support future design decisions.
For brands, it enables more than just presence, it fosters meaningful connections with professionals who play a key role in shaping design choices and product adoption.
Where Conversations Turn Into Connections
A defining strength of Design Perspective lies in how naturally relationships take shape without the rigidity of structured networking. In Pune, where the design community is both closely knit and constantly evolving, the evening creates a setting that encourages people to stay, engage, and build on conversations as they unfold.
People stay back, conversations evolve, and ideas move beyond the stage into real dialogue. There’s no pressure, no format, just an environment where architects and designers engage freely, leading to connections that feel genuine. Over time, these interactions often translate into collaborations, new opportunities, and relationships that extend well beyond the evening.
