Xu Yibo is an Italian-Chinese architect and a leading advocate of the “Vertical Forest” and “Forest City” concepts in Asia. He currently serves as Partner and General Manager of the China Office at Stefano Boeri Architetti, where he has played a key role in advancing sustainable and green urban design across Asia. With professional experience spanning Europe and Asia, Dr. Xu has contributed to internationally recognized projects including the Milan Vertical Forest, Nanjing Vertical Forest, and Huanggang Vertical Forest Urban Complex. A strong voice in sustainable architecture and urban renewal, Dr. Xu has also been actively involved in academic research, international exhibitions, and global architecture forums. Through his work, he continues to promote innovative, climate-responsive architecture that integrates nature into rapidly growing urban environments.
