Ayush Kasliwal is a renowned Indian furniture designer and founder of AKFD, celebrated for seamlessly blending contemporary design with traditional Indian craftsmanship. A graduate of the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, he is guided by the philosophy, “Never more than necessary, never less than beautiful.” Through AKFD and Anantaya, he has championed artisan-led innovation and sustainable design, earning prestigious recognitions including UNESCO–WCC Awards of Excellence, EDIDA, AD100, the Lexus Design Award, and Architect & Interiors India HOT 100, while helping elevate Indian craft on the global stage.
