Gathi Subekti is a Bali-based architect with over 15 years of professional experience and the Co-Founder & Principal Architect of Arkana Architects, established in 2015. A graduate of Parahyangan Catholic University, she is recognized for her contextual, narrative-driven approach to modern tropical architecture, creating projects that integrate environmental sensitivity, structural innovation, and meaningful spatial experiences. Her acclaimed works, including Desa Hay, Umasari House, Cumulus Villa, and Oberoi Villa, have received international recognition and been featured on ArchDaily. Beyond practice, Gathi is a dedicated advocate for women in architecture, co-founding Perempuan Berarsitektur to foster representation and dialogue. She also serves on the Indonesian Institute of Architects' National Young Architects & Community Incubator Board, mentoring emerging architects and strengthening Indonesia's architectural community through education, collaboration, and professional leadership.
