About Cyrus Patell

CollectiveProject is an architecture and design studio founded in Bangalore in 2013. Working across multiple scales, the practice explores design through objects, interiors, residences, hospitality spaces and institutional buildings. Its current portfolio includes private homes, residential interiors and large-scale projects across South India. The studio follows a process-driven approach, allowing each project to evolve through a close understanding of its context. Spatial narratives, landscape and materiality are brought together to create environments that are thoughtful, responsive and carefully resolved. Rather than applying a fixed design language, CollectiveProject develops solutions that emerge from the specific needs, possibilities and character of each site. Its approach remains open and fluid, drawing inspiration from culture, climate, environment, technology and the everyday patterns of human interaction. This sensitivity enables the studio to create spaces that are contemporary yet grounded in their surroundings. Across its work, CollectiveProject focuses on achieving a balance between concept, functionality and experience. Every project is treated as an opportunity to investigate how architecture can respond meaningfully to people and place, while creating a strong relationship between built form, landscape and material expression. Through this considered methodology, the studio continues to shape distinct and enduring architectural experiences.
