Manisha is the Business Director and Head of BDP’s India Studio, leading business growth and design strategy across the region. An Urbanism Director with over 20 years of international experience, she specialises in masterplanning and urban design, having delivered projects across India, the Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and the UK. Based in New Delhi, Manisha has led a diverse range of projects including city masterplans, smart city initiatives, transit-oriented developments, mixed-use townships, residential communities, and public realm strategies. She is known for her collaborative approach, bringing together multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to create visionary, people-centric environments that respond effectively to complex urban challenges. Beyond practice, Manisha serves as Chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, championing greater representation and visibility of women leaders across the built environment sector.
