She is known for advocating the "architecture of belonging", an approach that celebrates cultural identity while embracing contemporary global perspectives. Alongside the firm's leadership, she has helped shape ZHCollective | Habitat Architects into a multidisciplinary practice driven by innovation and collaboration. A passionate advocate for indigenous craftsmanship and women's economic empowerment, Monika has represented these causes at the United Nations CSW63 and Dubai Expo 2020, earning recognition through the prestigious Black Swan Award for Women's Empowerment.
